I finally got one email on Tuesday saying there'd be another email that night or the next day with instructions. Still haven't seen anything.

Interesting. I scrolled through the guide and one thing that was unclear is where does the adb.exe file come from?

The only issue I had before adding DB to Streamio was sometimes the streams would lag. Once I got DB on there I never had that problem. But obviously that's also dependent on other factors like how fast your connection is and how many seeds the torrent have. So you could be just fine without DB. But if you do have issues, I can definitely recommend adding it, especially since it's so cheap.

I've been using Proton Mail and GrapheneOS for some time now. Early in I found an app called You Have Mail that solved the pushnotifications problem for me. I've never used Tutanota, so I can't speak for it at all, but I really like Proton.

Oh that’s cool! I’ll have to check that out! Thanks!

Wait, how does that work? I’ve always added them manually.

I don’t think this is exactly what you’re looking for, but Overseer/Jellyseerr offers notifications through Telegram for requests when they’re made, approved and available.

It’s not a plug-in, but the best I know of is Radarr an indexer for movies, Sonarr an indexer for TV, and Jellyseerr a requester that connects to Radarr and Sonarr.

Thanks for the explanation. Hopefully I can figure all that out when the time comes.

“Is that the inbuilt kill-switch of your VPN? Which VPN software do you use, which provider?”

To be clear I meant remote access and access on other devices. So I can still access my JellyFin server on my computer when my vpn is connected, but if I try to access it on my TV or outside my home network it tells me the server is down. I’ve always assumed it’s just because the vpn is hiding my actual ip that my server is connected to so other devices can’t see it.

Newbie question for you. I’m in the process of building myself a server for the first time after running Jellyfin on my computer for a while. One issue I had on my computer is every time I have my VPN connected to download content, my server is unavailable. How does this work on a server?
