Yeah the way these federated systems are handling bans and moderation right now is not very transparent. It's very easy to have moderator action taken against you and not know why it happened, or to even know that it happened

Rooki is such a pest across so many different communities...

And some of them because they don't get that it's a weird thing to do and say because they're doing it and saying it

Oh, I think for me it was just that when I have thought patterns like "...is it time to give up?" My emotional color is anxiety. I have to pick myself back up by focusing on the value of focusing not only on protecting myself, but also protecting others. Just saw more of myself in you than I saw you for you I guess

So. Individual pricacy measures are a lot like eating a vegan diet. There's only so much any one individual can do. You are making things better in some small way by doing it, but once you've taken things as far as you, its time to switch from an individual journey to one of collectivization. Advocate to your friends and family about why you browse the internet weird and what we all stand to gain by banding together and doing it as a group. Not all of them will listen, but that's okay. Evangelism isn't about reaching everyone, its about reaching a few people. Movements are built by people trying to make them world better and you can do this.

Importantly, too, accepting that there's only so much you can do will help you confront your anxiety. Anxiety is the emotion we feel when we wish we felt a different feeling from what we're feeling. Its a uniquely insidious emotion in how when you feel anxious, you want to feel another way, and then you feed the anxiety by doing that. Breaking free of these loops are important if you want to make them world a better place because you need to be able to function and not be broken by your desire to improve things.

And hey. I believe in you. You can do this

Arrest records are also not an accurate portrayal of crime. There's a TON of wrongful arrests out there. Like... Its a monumental problem

I had a coworker at my old company call her communist and I was like... "What the fuck are you talking about?" And he was like "well that's what my Cuban dad said" and we had to like... Go over what her actual positions were and at the end be was like "Jesus she seems... Really reasonable" and it was just like "yeah man. America is really far right. She's pretty much the dead center of left in this country. A communist she certainly is not"

You're misunderstanding what I mean when I say smaller communities and that's partially on me. The largely anonymous city is the unit of organization I champion as being the ideal target. We want populous cities that are self organized and self sufficient. Personally, my experience with this independent and dispassionate arbiter has never been good, so my vision for community policing moves away from a paid police force to the mechanisms I've already invested myself more in in the forms of mutual aid and support.

Smaller in this case is a comparison between countries that span across nearly entire continents vs the idea of a city state. We also need to protect ourselves from multinational companies that are so anonymous and foreign to the people they exploit that it's impossible to hold them accountable

Look at this sexy woman. Look at this cool refreshing air conditioner she's next to. Isn't she sexy? Isn't it nice stepping in from the heat to stand next to an air conditioner? So anyway. Associate coca cola with all the feelings you're feeling

we have laws specifically protecting kids because without them the Trump class would exploit them because its easy. this contemltuous treatment of the youth is that incarnate

And for the record. Yes. I am an anarchocommunist. If the cost of large societies is large scale violence, then maybe we should adjust our primary societal units into smaller, more communal units. The ideal government is one that protects the liberties of the populace from exploitation by others. As it stands our governments mainly function to ensure the exploitation continues. I'm not advocating the immediate abolishment of all government right now, but I want to make it clear that I don't think a society that justifies the violence it enacts as being necessary to maintain society is worth maintaining as is. Such a society requires adjustment
