Toki Pona might be better just because it uses more common sounds and less of them. Might be easier to learn and speak from a background like Cantonese or something. Isn't Esperanto very euro-centric?

I've never been in an org of anarchic flavor, but otherwise yes. I can suggest that you don't forget about mental health and taking a break. It is exhausting to do all the time. Sometimes, it is really helpful to take a step back, chill, and just have fun.

I know Canada will be different, but only 20% of Americans live in "rural" areas. That means that most cities just need to add value to their transit systems. Even small cities can build out impressive networks of they decide to put the money into it. There is always enough, and don't let anycity officials tell you differently.

I hate it too. Most of my friends are from work though, so that's the least common denominator for all conversations. We spend the most time together there, and it's a lot of shared experiences. I try to balance it out by taking extra effort to be engaged with their outside work stuff. Going to their events, active listening, supporting, etc.
