I mean, it's not just going to blow up itself...

I mean maybe I'm a bit off the wall here but is it possible that - and I'm just spitballing here - but isn't it possible that being an absolutely insufferable, repugnant, lying, manipulative, egotistical, repulsive, persistent, whining, cry baby asshole that has an almost impressive penchant for pissing off virtually every one, every single second of every single day, on top of being a disagreeable politician could potentially make you a more likely target than just being a disagreeable politician? Idk maybe I'm crazy.

So... Pretty much everyone then? Lol

Now I'm actually wondering what that percentage would be like.

I feel like it's the ultimate catch all. Absolutely anything is directionally correct. Flat earth? I mean the earth has a shape and there are plenty of flat shapes so it's directionally correct. Bigfoot? Easy. There are plenty of animals with very large feet. Directionally correct. Hatians eating dogs? Hatians eat animals with four legs and there are both hatians and animals with 4 legs in the United States. Directionally correct. Checkmate Kambala!

I know I'm a moron but isn't this just purely visual? Like wouldn't this be the same as doing it on the ground? Still looks really cool regardless but as far as degree of difficulty isn't this just pretty much as hard as doing it anywhere else? I know this is extraordinarily difficult stuff anyways and it's still impressive, I just don't really get the point of the train other than just kinda looking neat cause of the frame of reference.

I was shopping for daycare trying to kinda get a financial picture of how we could swing it not too long ago and the cheapest daycare I could find came out to about twice my mortgage lol. So I guess I either hit the lottery so I don't have to use daycare or I just don't have kids

I dunno man. She barely broke a billion dollars on the eras tour after Biden. Surely this will be the one to completely ruin her.

Careful dude. The small intestine is weak and dumb. But that large one? It's sneaky. Just been biding it's time until it strikes. You open that window and you might not be able to close it.

This is our year!

My company made $5.5 billion profit in 2023. Last week we were told inflation is simply hitting us too hard for any raises for the 2nd year in a row.

I had a huge scholarship of about 70% that I was incredibly proud of. I STILL came out with debt about 670% more than my father without any assistance at all. And that's adjusted for inflation too! I'm ancient now so the price I paid is way cheaper than the poor bastards now. It's insanity.

Why don't Lemmy posts (from any instance) show up on search engines? Like if I try my hardest to get a thread to show up, virtually nothing from the actual instances in the fediverse comes up. I'm sure if I searched the exact url or something I could get it but it's very noticable that the search engines by and large just kind of gloss over posts on here and I'm not sure why.

This stinks cause that was one of the biggest draws for reddit. So many times when you search some super obscure or specific question you'd get a few reddit threads with all sorts of information.
