I'm a father.

I know that life is fleeting. Consider it a success if you're remembered in 2 generations after you pass.

Am I saying "have kids"? No. I just know that what I taught to them will be passed on. Even if my name was lost, my contribution wasn't.

We live on by what we pass on. You're not a failure when you stop trying to keep up with the Joneses. If one idea continues, so do you.

Without an API, all clients would need to rely on scraping, which is slower and more resource intense - almost orders of magnitude. Until Kbin develops an API, it will always be less used.

I agree. I'm just of the "rip the band-aid off" mindset.

I had no idea it would take off. Apparently many others agree. Literally my first post on Lemmy.

It was a shower thought. I didn't say you couldn't bitch and moan. You do you.

Me commenting on all the posts I see isn't me being a part of the subject.

That's like someone being called a programmer for making a post about how much programmers make. It's just a bad comparison.

I joined 4 days ago. I have contributed to HFY mostly, until this.

I haven't done much, because I wanted to get a feel for the community.

Is it ok that I contribute now?

The right way!

I'm tired about reading about reddit here.

We left. Let's move on.
