It's a texture thing I think. If I take a bite with mushroom in it, my like animal hind brain just straight up rejects it. Gagging spitting, the whole tottler experience. No conscious thoughts, no tasting, just reflex

Hold out a little hope. Democrats have both houses and the governor. And uncharacteristically they're actually moving some shit though. We got weed legalization, a huge investment in housing, and some good public transit is in the works.

There's only one legal shop up and running right now, way up north on the red lake rez. By all means stop in if you can, but if your elsewhere you'll be sol

I've struggled with substance abuse. Get sober and give it 6 months. The human brain is amazing, it will snap back. Just gotta give it a chance to adjust.

Lol, probably an on the way type stop. I never get too far off the interstate driving a rig as I do, but it seems like beautiful country. Might be worth a weekend camping trip.

This restaurant is in a clapped out old truck stop off the i80 in PA. The first time I came here I was wondering if I was gonna get food poisoning or the best meal ever. Best meal ever. Such a treat as an over the road trucker to get some food that's not of the soulless chains we all know too well.

Yes and no. Like I said I went into this series almost blind as to what it was. I thought I had discovered this whole new generation of literature (litrpg) I could dive into.

But alas, there are so many absolutey horrible books out there in the litrpg world. Dungeon crawler Carl is really the only one I could recommend. I really hate to poop on anyone's parade who's into it, but that's how I feel. It's still a youngish thing, so I keep an eye on new series. But so far nada.

Like I said before, the audio book here is the way to go here.

I've been digging 'Dungeon crawler Carl' Definitely listen to it. I went into it knowing nothing, just based on a reddit comment. Was fantastic. Next book in the series comes out in a few days

Stoked to be here at lemmy. As my first ever contribution have a cat pic. May I present little miss Caligula. In this photo she's pissed we ran out of wet cat food.
