For bills that are due on a regular basis but not monthly (car registration, oil changes, pet’s annual check up, HVAC check ups if you own a home, etc) - figure out how much each costs per year, add them all up, divide by 12, and set up an auto-transfer to a savings account for that amount every month. Don’t forget to include that amount in your monthly budget too.

A case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis was confirmed in Massachusetts. The town of Oxford (where the sick person lives) voted on a voluntary curfew.

The recommendation is for residents to avoid mosquito's peak activity time. They should "finish outdoor activities before 6:00 PM through September 30th, 2024 and before 5:00 PM October 1st, 2024 until the first hard frost." The advisory also recommends residents wear insect repellent, wear protective clothing, and mosquito-proof their homes.

The CDC says that about 30 percent of cases are fatal, while Massachusetts health officials report that about half of people who develop EEE in the state have died.

I’ve never made it before and had to combine several recipes because I couldn’t find one that was sweet and dill and horseradish (even though I’ve bought home canned sweet horseradish dill pickles before). Also I used prepared horseradish instead of fresh grated, so you’d need to change the amount
