Le fabuleux voyage de l'oncle Ernest (the translation would be Uncle Ernest's Fabulous Journey, but I don't think it's been released outside of France)

I don't remember much of the game but I loved it as a kid, around 9-10.

The game is about the traveling journal of our adventurer uncle: Ernest. From what I remember it's like a virtual treasure hunt, trying to find clues to find our uncle. It's a lot of minigames going through Africa, Istanbul, Borneo ...

I love my AKG Q702. I think there are almost identical to the Q701 but with a detachable cable so it can be easily replaced.

I've been using them almost everyday since 2020 and barely show any wear.

The only thing that wore out a bit is the elastic on the side but I don't really notice a difference.

The article sounds like a journalist has been commissioned to write a positive article about her even though he thinks the opposite.

"Virkkunen is not afraid of situations where people have different opinions than hers. She does not back away just because the situation is uncomfortable." Virkkunen declined an interview request.

That marks a big shift, both in personality and policies, from her predecessor, France’s fiery, intellectual businessman Thierry Breton. He wrote sci-fi novels, waged a high-profile campaign against major US tech companies,

Elon Musk insulted Thierry Breton when he told him that X had to comply with European laws.

The real meaning of "actually like tech" is more "is ready to bend to the will of tech industry"

The problem is that the same companies are probably supplying Ukraine too. Ukraine is constantly playing a very finicky political game.

Edit: I was wrong, Ukraine do publish the list of the components they are finding in Russian weapons. https://war-sanctions.gur.gov.ua/en/components

It's not that surprising once you know that their goal is to be completely independent for their US for their military equipment.

It includes the nuclear bomb, missiles, fighter jet, aircraft carrier, submarines, even space capabilities (even if this last part has been lacking a bit lately).

They don't have the US military budget but they want the same level of technology without any ties to the US.

It means that they are exporting a lot to compensate for the high investments they are pouring into military technology.

Here is the share of global arms export per country.

Germany, Italy and the UK are also big exporters but still behind France.

France's military industry is having wet dreams thinking about it.

If the US pulls out of NATO France becomes the biggest arms exporter of NATO and I would expect other countries will become less enthusiastic at the idea of buying US weapons systems.

Une bonne nouvelle !

On l'a vu avec la guerre en Ukraine, les câbles sous marin sont une cible stratégique.

The wings are crazy ! They look way too flimsy for what they do.

Next time you see an airplane, imagine a crane picking it up by the wings, around the middle of the wing length, and then start shaking it up.

It does not look like the wing will be able to hold that much weight.
