I guess most people didn’t watch apple event. Pro models have new A17 cpu with usb 3 controller inside, while regular iPhone 15 has last years Pro model A16 cpu (Apple does that with every new generation) which didn’t have usb 3 controller since lightning is still usb 2. iPads have support for usb 3 because they have separate usb 3 controller (not inside cpu because more space) so claiming that iPads have it for years is true but for different reason. So logically it would make sense that iPhone 16 base models will have A17 cpu with usb 3 controller.

I’d recommend running pihole.yourdomain.com or jellyfin.yourdomain.com instead. I think using yourdomain.com/service might cause you some problems, that’s why i heard other recommend use subdomains instead.

Do you plan on releasing it on testflight first?

A question i always ask myself is, if we can see code on github for example, it still doesn’t mean their release has the same code right? They could actually compile their program with some extra stuff that sends data and just add that version on github release page, but the code itself would be clean on github right?

One solution would be sending email requesting for them to open ports for you, you can tell them that you need open ports for security cameras and use that port for reverse proxy. That way you dont need more than one open port. Second option is cloudflare tunnels, they do not require open ports at all, but they do require for you to buy domain though. Last option would be to use VPN like tailscale which also do not require open ports at all. All you need is clients installed on devices and connect them on the same network.

Hope some of these help, i actually use all methods for different situations and each of them have pros and cons, but those are all reliable methods.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.. All of them have at least one long press features at the bottom bar. I do agree it can be unintuitive if you never used it before, but it almost feels like a standard in apps nowdays. I feel like it’s pretty well used feature and it would be unused space if they moved somewhere else, you can access it in literally single click.

He’s not an idiot. This app is intuitive. That feature was requested by users. That’s how it worked in Apollo and users liked it. Just because You don’t like it, it doesn’t mean it’s not intuitive.

But following that logic “OC” would mean you didn’t get it from “someplace else”, but since AI is trained by looking pieces made by other people to learn, it technically did get it from someplace else.

TestFlight will still receive new betas, if you don’t want to beta test new releases, just want to have latest stable release download the one from the store. Both will work just fine so you can stay on TestFlight one if you want to.

What makes you think Lemmy would die that quick?
