I would have guessed that was a Puma logo.

IKR? But yeah, nah, tattoo machines are basically a motor that pumps the needle up and down, and you have to dip it in ink to transfer it into the skin.

The opposite of that is kinda how I thought tattoo machines worked as a kid- as in with hollow needles and an ink cartridge, like fountain pens, and each poke into the skin would deposit ink that way. I even 'figured out' that the tiny vacuum from pulling the needle out would be what pulled the ink down into the skin.

When I found out how tattoo machines actually worked, it seemed so messy (and loud!).

Wow, they really took their logo from sexy, fast and expensive looking, to looking like an over priced soft drink?

That's impressive, haha.

So the new lady is going to get her own private bathroom? Hopefully she's going to be the only one with keys for it, it's going to get vandalised pretty quick otherwise.

That's going to morph into 'dva' hella fast as that 't' is clunky to pronounce.

Depending on where in the world your cave was, you could well have had access to ephedra plants.

Ephedra pollen was found in a 50,000 year old neanderthal grave in Kurdistan, and the plant grows in many other places all over the world too.

Ephedra plants are what the stimulant ephedrine is derived from, and drinking a tea brewed from the plant will have a stimulant effect and I'm pretty sure making an extra strong ephedra tea would have a stronger effect.

Also apparently Mormons drink a lot of it.

Good little article, worth a read.

B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says the teenager in Children’s Hospital with Canada’s first presumptive case of avian flu is in critical condition. Henry said the teen was admitted late on Friday and their condition varied over the weekend but that as of Tuesday they had taken a turn for the worst.
