Fair, I didn't look hard enough.

You know, going to that island could avtually be a great way to hook up. I mean, there's like hundreds of women and only a few men... and there's only so much of Jared to go around. Maybe they just cought on to this life hack earlier than the rest of us.

Lol, I wish it was armor class 😂. I'd fix it and sell it, then get a house with a proper AC 🤣.

He-Man riding a big duck in a river/lake... yeah, checks out, seems legit 👍.

If it's an ActivityPub feature, this is somewhat of a poor design if you ask me (or at least not being able to change this). He's right, this feature could put instance owners in legal problems, because the data in question is actually stored on their server, not the server that you posted the image on.

Yeah, you're right... but I think the problem is, the login info... but, than again, how could it store copies of my post, but not images.

In any case, I do agree that this is something that should be looked into and discussed in length.

It's the pretend part that's confusing to me. Why actually eat something shaped and tasting like what carnivores eat. Why does it have to resemble meat products? You obviously don't like hurting animals, why pretend that an animal died to serve you this meal.

A vegan earlier explained it to me that these are mostly things that vegans would eat at carnivore social events, like barbecues, in which case, yes, it does make sense.

Mine consides with yours, except it's a bit more techy. We'd still need someone to grow food for everyone on the planet, and that's where robots come in... and for everything else that is just tedious or repetitive to do. We'd also need central coordination regarding things like solar panel control, or nuclear power plant control, so a central AI will most probably dominate on all devices.

There is no currency, we have an advanced socialist society. We don't have polititians, we have "shamans" (people that guide the rest and keep the social piece, as well as uphold the values of the society). These people are not chosen by elections, they're groomed from youngsters to be leaders and embedded with the values this society upholds the most. Of course, they're carefully screened and chosen, based on certain tests that all children have to take, and scored on that (compassion and other highly valued human traits that are considered weaknesses in today's society, leadership skills, etc.).

He's probably still in his teens, things like that seem cool to kids 🤷.
