Do they actually have ads? I'll just whitelist the website ofc, but was a little shocked to GoodbyeAds block this tbh.

Not as far as I can see.
But there's many false positives, which is also why NextDNS has allowlist.

Looking at mine, something even blocked www.guinnessworldrecords.com (Lightswitch05) and ieee.org (none of my current blocklists anymore).

Goodbye Ads also blocks xHamster. Interesting.

It's in there

Oh, was not aware of the false positives. Interesting. Do you know if this is a common thing or not with NextDNS?

Goodbye ads isn't even the default filter. This doesn't have much to do with NextDNS.
It's just one of the 3rd party filters.

Mb, I misunderstood you

Probably got in as false positive. New websites end up in the filters pretty often because new stuff is often scam or ads. (dynDNS is another factor)

Just white-list it.

I would just remove Goodbye Ads... it has too many false positives, not worth it. OISD + 1hosts lite is all you need (and language specific filters if you visit those websites)

I might if I see it becoming a problem further one. First time I've encountered it being a problem.

for me, I had to constantly keep whitelisting stuff because of Goodbye Ads

Works for me.
