Why do they keep giving her a microphone???

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 7 points 6 months ago

I think she’s pretty popular with the democrats’ monied base, so they wheel her out for fundraisers

Why do we keep listening?

Why would it matter, she's not running for anything.

Public opinion matters when you’re trying to sell a candidate, and the short memory of her doing the same stupid thing in 2016 and shooting her campaign in the foot is frankly depressing.

The best thing Hillary can do for Dems is shut up...

But she's too much like trump, she can't help herself.

Hillary is such an arrogant bitch. Why the hell should we be taking advice from someone who lost to Trump?!

Democrats as a whole refuse to figure out what motivates Republican voters in order to speak in a way that might appeal to them. Why should it be a shock that Democrats as a whole refuse to figure out what motivates potential 3rd party, or disaffected, voters? Instead, they've been using the same browbeating tactic since Nader ran in '96.

Spoken like a true status-quo-worshipping establishmentarian.

Hillary, seriously, I think you should leave
