Ubisoft should have announced this as its AAAA game instead and actually put all its resources into it. The original game is beloved, this one has the highest chance of people liking it.

I just scooped the original on sale for $3. You can mod it to have it play decently and I don't think it requires a 3rd party launcher
So... No BG&E2? Is the dream dead?
15 years in the making apparently.
With all of the development hell and now a change to be a prequel, and so many key people who have left the development team, I don't exactly have v about this game.
Such a great game it deserves a new remaster. Would love to see new content too.
It doesn't deserve a remaster, it deserves a proper remake. Higher textures and maybe more modern controls isn't enough, this game deserves more. It deserves a complete re-imagining that stays true to the original vision and keeps the sick music of the original.
The game was too short too and could use more chapters IMO. Also maybe they could do something about the ending. (Can't find the spoiler button on the Voyager app so I'll leave it at that lolz)
