I forgot about those big computer tower hot boxes in computer desks. Good times.

Now I'm jealous, my masturbation center didn't have that nice hutch on top of the desk.

Now I'm even more jealous, you had a view, I just had a wall behind it.

You can get a similar effect at a park bench

Unfathomably disappointed that the caption doesn't say masturbation station.

I prefer the term Masturbatorium or Wanktorium in British English.

Masturstation

okay but that desk is 1980s.

that flat screen computer monitor tells me that whoever owns that desk has not been upgrading his furniture to keep up with the changing times.

[–] LordAmplifier@pawb.social 8 points 9 months ago

Why upgrade if they still like the desk? I guess the computer itself is behind the closet door on the right, and ventilation probably isn't great in there. And the niche for the monitor might be a bit too small for a 27" or even a 24" screen, but removing the top shelves and adding a couple of vent screens for ventilation would solve those issues.

That tower hutch suggests '90s, really.

[–] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

No, people bought them for cheap in the '80s because they must have been mass produced because I'm pretty sure everyone had one including our family, and still had them in the '90s.

A perfect arena for hand-to-gland combat.

First of all, why would you put something with fans inside your desk?

Second of all, you guys didn't use CRTs back then?

[–] TheGoldenGod@lemmy.world 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Wow, that looks almost exactly like my desk design wise. Only difference is the design of the 2 drawers hinge and the leg area has an overhang to put your feet up.

[–] olutukko@lemmy.world 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

You mean your masturbation center?

[–] TheGoldenGod@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago

Being obsessive about cleanliness, I simply couldn’t do it there. 😕

[–] TheCoolerMia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Omg!!! My cousin's desktop looked EXACTLY like that!

Oh my god this is making me wonder things that I was too little to wonder at the time, memory ruined o~o

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Who says it was a masturstation

[–] TheCoolerMia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 9 months ago

well... computer, drawers, comfy, I would have used it as a masturstation X3

Don't come in here! I'm....uh...checking my bank statement!

[–] FartsWithAnAccent@kbin.social 2 points 9 months ago

This is so very close lol

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 2 points 9 months ago

Do you look the drawers directly in their smiling faces while you do it?

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

What does the updated version look like?

[–] pokemaster787@ani.social 3 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Two monitors and a lot more RGB, also the cheapest desk Amazon/IKEA had.

[–] ProgrammingSocks@pawb.social 2 points 8 months ago

Don't forget that Walmart's in the IKEA college furniture business now too
