Bad picture for an article advocating communication and de escalation.The entire plot with Azula is that she's so incredibly inflexible and self absorbed that she cannot be reasoned with. Her character arc ends with her literally screaming in chains.

I am not sure this will work as intended since part of the problem is that most of the lurkers who read the original and never interacted with it beyond that have already moved on to something entirely different by the time any mistake admitting, forgiveness,... happens.

The article suggests that this is solved by repushing the original content with the mistake flag but I would argue that a notification may even be appropriate. Similar to how mastodon sends notifications for edits.

I understood its suggestion as limiting the new notification only to people who interacted with the original post.

One thing that I love about social media is how much it has delegitimized itself, because it should be treated as such. The people who end up owning it just don't accept the responsibility that comes with the power. This post has a lot of good ideas that won't really get any attention because of the people who lead the social networks, lemmy included.
