It's a fun game. I hope the improvements get back ported to the spring engine.

I've played quite a lot of Balanced Annihilation on Spring and later BAR over the years, IMO it's probably the best implementation of the TA sub-genre at this point.

I don't do much multiplayer the last few times I've gone on a kick because I don't have time to commit to reliably sitting down and playing an unexpectedly long match (or being decent at it). That said, the BARBarian bots BAR is shipping are actually kind of fun opponents, if you let one get too established it can put up a pretty good fight.
