Hey everyone should have a wingman with that much faith in them.

Wingman seems doubly appropriate here. There's obviously the parachute itself, but in this case, I think we'll see that second kid is going to turn out like Goose from Top Gun.

"Talk to me Goose."

My older sister and I once made a very questionable swing. My youngest sister was more than happy to be the first one to try it. She had to climb up on the picnic table, under the apple tree, to sit in a chair. We then hoisted the chair up by rope. The chair promptly flipped, we dropped the rope and little sister broke her elbow. Managed to hide the broken elbow from Mom and Dad till the next morning.

Poor sis! How did you manage to hide a broken elbow??

[–] VioletRing@kbin.social 18 points 1 year ago

Stay outside until dinner. Warn sister not to rat. Play in bedroom until bedtime.

My daughter fractured her elbow in a bike accident and we didn't know until the next day. We thought it was just sprained. She wasn't acting like it was so bad that it was broken and she went to sleep okay.

This is hilarious. I don't know anything about the field or the journal but they have a good sense of humor.

Why did my parents have more kids if not to test crazy ideas?
