Knowing when you’re in over your head, completely stressed out, and will not be able to do the job required is probably one of the most adult things you can do.

For those that don't know she was mayor of a town of 1,500 people. Generally places of this size aren't paying someone enough for it to be a full time job.

This article has a good chart for BC with population and mayor's salaries.

Yeah I looked into running for mayor for my town of 400 and the pay was barely 15k a year haha

Elle est tout de même devenu mairesse à 21 ans, je pense pas qu'on peut la blamer d'avoir fait un burnout après un giga problème de feux de forêt. Elle a fait sa part!
