That's some pretty forceful Capitalization you got going on There.
"Incident".
It looks like he was beaten to death by mob.
Unless you know you actually read the article when it was a one-on-one confrontation, where a Pro-Palestinian person also helped him seek medical attention.
But yes, I guess it was a mob seeking to kill this man.
" Kessler was “struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor.”
A video posted to social media shows him lying on the ground as two people, including a pro-Palestinian demonstrator, try to help."
I'm sure the media will be responsible and not use this incident to support genocide.
What's funny to me is that it was a pro-Palestine demonstration. He was attacked by a counter-protester. So he was attacked by someone supporting Isreal by that logic.
The mental gymnastics...
One can argue the morality of a governement but a mob who are protesting aganist oppression oppress andd kill one individual.. now thats animilistic behaviour in their mentality
Because you demonstrate you can kill anyone that opposes your point of view?
May his memory be a blessing, as they say.
Side question: when did 65 become elderly?
Most developed Western countries set the retirement age around the age of 65; this is also generally considered to mark the transition from middle to old age. Reaching this age is commonly a requirement to become eligible for senior social programs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_age?wprov=sfti1#Definitions
Retirement age used to be 55, even.
How odd.
Not really. Life expectancy went up, birthrates went down -> people have to work for longer.
Always?
Average lifespan in the United States is like 77.
I would say once you're 84% of the way to death you're elderly.
1935
Absolutely horrifying. Gas over $5!? Yikes
