Nice try, officer
Getting called a cop as the mod of !shoplifting feels funny lol
If this is more than a joke, it would be great if you (or others that agree with you) could point out the issue(s) with this topic or the specific questions. Might be helpful for those that are unsure how much they want to share on social media to make more informed decisions.
Nah, jus a joke. I"m lucky enough to not need to shoplifting tho so I haven't anything to contribute
Got caught today in a big ass mall, went in with a friend, first time i did the stealing and went smooth. went in a second time some hours later. and he was being indecisive and loud. I kind of saw it coming at this point and as we got out they followed as from behind and asked us if we payed for everything. at this point there's no point in arguing but he kept denying it EVEN AFTER THEY FOUND HIS SHIT FROM HIS CLOTHS LMAO. We agreed to pay for it and they didn't allow us to and fined us way more than what the stolen goods were worth and we still couldnt take them :/
fuck! that sounds like a really unfortunate situation. It sounds to me like your friend was really stressed out by the situation.
do you know if they will contact the police?
I hope not. they did log all our details so i wont be taking chances there again. The chief security official was a retired assistant commissioner and the other guards kept pointing it out to us probably to scare us. I guess the fine was a warning and im taking it
Not much from my side, but I started looking so much more for opportunities and I noticed the hardware store I frequent seems to have zero cameras and the second hand clothing store that's pretty popular has security tags on pretty much everything over 20€
