Wondering what other Lemmys are looking out for.

For me, I'm excited for frame.work to start selling GPUs with their laptops. I can't wait to finally buy the last laptop I'll ever need to buy, since as Framework parts die/get old you can replace them individually.

That's a nice one! Would love to see more powerful GPUs inside framework laptops. Would most likely be my next machine :)

The end of US dominance over the world.

You and your goalposts. Is the Ukraine situation still not a war? I remember you held that view for a while l

[โ€“] yogthos@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago

Not sure what goalposts you're claiming I'm moving here. I've always said that this is a conflict between Russia and the west. Former US ambassador to Finland openly calls it a proxy war, so it's pretty clear that this is not a war between Ukraine and Russia.

I'm moving to a smaller city soon and am super excited about that.

Also, Olympics qualifiers - Olympics are a bit more than a year away but hey, that's a workaround :)

I'm looking forward to the release of Christopher Noland's next movie. I enjoy his works and it seems this one's gonna be a good one.

At the time I'm replying, it has already come out and I've have already been playing it, but I'm so incredibly excited about Tears of the Kingdom. It's an absolute banger of a game!

In the tech word, I look forward to improvements in the Matrix protocol (that Matrix 2.0 presentation at FOSDEM really peaked my interest), as well as to the usual continuous updates and QoL improvements to a whole lot of FOSS I use every day, and with special excitement to KDE 6!
