This is Netanyahu's fault.

"In the spring of 2016, no issue was more important to Benjamin Netanyahu than Donald Trump winning the White House."

With so much on the line, Netanyahu appears to have made a drastic decision. He would dispatch a discreet, highly trusted aide, armed with critical intelligence, to covertly “intervene” in the US election to help put his man Trump in the White House. Based on the FBI documents, the intelligence appears to have consisted of advance knowledge of Russia’s hacking of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and it may have included confidential details from the stolen e-mails. It was likely obtained by Israeli eavesdropping operations that were targeting secret Russian communications, as well as those of WikiLeaks.

Let's get a little more recent than that. Egypt warned BiBi two weeks ago that something was happening.

I would only be surprised if something he did somehow made the world a better place.

I really hate him, but he did stop chemical weapons usage in Syria by blasting an airport as warning…. At least as far as I know

The military took the effort to plan the operation, prepare the battle space, implement procedures, designate all the proper personnel, equip the weapon systems, trained the military operators, developed the intelligence reports, and checked off all the tedious bureaucratic bullshit to prevent legal and international investigations and put that stack on his desk.

All that fat fuck Trump moron did is listen to the 4-star ivy-league college educated general summarizing the request to him like he would to a toddler while Trump stuffed his fat fuck face with McDonald's and signed the paper to allow it.

Damn, that’s a good summary. I guess I’m not immune to slipping standards. This guy lowered the bar so low, that I considered him doing his job praise worthy

Please, don't use the 'r' word at Beehaw. It isn't nice and it's considered a slur.

Apologies, @admin. Thank you for the warning instead of instant ban. I will respect your community and pay attention to the site I'm commenting on the future.

I have edited my comment to comply with your mandate.

The image of whatever Russian diplomat sitting on the shitter at maralargo and reading docs is hilarious

[-] agentsquirrel@beehaw.org 12 points 7 months ago

Yea, but Trump knows Putin is a good guy and Trump declassified those secrets anyways, just by thinking about it, so no way that "intel leak" to Russia (which really wasn't an intel leak because it was declassified) could have caused any damage. (/s)

Click here to see the summaryDonald Trump's sharing of alleged classified intelligence to Russian officials in the White House has come under scrutiny amid a large-scale attack by the Hamas Islamist military group against Israel.

In May 2017, the former president defended his actions after he was found to have discussed sensitive details about an alleged Islamic State (ISIS) plot with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office.

On Saturday, Hamas, designated a terrorist group by the U.S. and the European Union, launched a large-scale attack against Israel, resulting in the deadliest day of violence in the Israel-Palestine conflict for decades.

Allison Gill, who tweets using the account for the Mueller, She Wrote podcast, added: "Don't forget: Trump gave Israeli intelligence to Russians in the Oval Office 6 years ago.

"As president, I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled WH meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety," Trump wrote.

Trump is due to go on trial in May 2024 accused of retaining classified documents after he left the White House in January 2021, and then obstructing the federal attempt to retrieve them from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Springs, Florida.
