Ah, yes, Jim "I like pedos" Jordan. Our politics is truly nauseating.

Or Steve "Speaker at Stormfront convention" Scalise. So, we finally find out if the modern house republican more racist or pedo?
Could also be Steve "David Duke without the baggage" Scalise. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/oct/03/steve-scalise-house-speaker-republicans
The only real solution that would satisfy both the racist and the child rapists would to find a racist, child rapist for Speaker.
Edit: Words should be correct.
¿Porque no los dos?
Gym Jordan is an embarrassment to Ohio.
Jordan just wants to keep Dennis Hastert's legacy alive.
Oh, no, no thank you. These are both bad, I'll take neither.
The GOP is a domestic terrorist organization that is out to harm the people of this country. It’s all they do.
Jim Jordan is running to fill Denny Hastert's shoes.
These assholes again. 🤬
This is the best summary I could come up with:
In separate letters to their fellow GOP lawmakers urging their support, both Jordan and Scalise pitched themselves as unifiers who can build on the party's efforts to push back against the Biden administration's policies and advance a conservative agenda.
Jordan, known as a conservative firebrand, indicated that he would be open to seeking the speaker's gavel shortly after McCarthy told House Republicans he would not try to regain his position atop the lower chamber.
A founding member and leader of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of conservative lawmakers, Jordan has in the past served as a thorn in the side of GOP leadership.
He mounted a bid for House speaker in 2018 after then-Speaker Paul Ryan said he wouldn't run for another term, but was not expected to garner support from a majority of Republicans.
But some conservatives have already lined up behind Jordan, including Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Mike Carey of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana, who is running for the Senate.
Rep. Matt Gaetz, the Florida Republican who unilaterally forced the vote to remove McCarthy, indicated to reporters earlier this week that Scalise could be a good candidate to fill the vacant speaker seat.
The original article contains 1,293 words, the summary contains 197 words. Saved 85%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
More political theater as nothing changes for American people.
