This will be a home for all things related to the cultivation of cannabis. The preferred focus here will be organic and sustainable growing methods, but any cannabis growers or growers-to-be are welcome!

The moderator and community creator here is in a legal cannabis state. It is therefore assumed that everyone sharing photos and info about their grows is also doing so legally. Happy growing!

Close-up is of a sugar leaf, looks like the trichome are just starting to turn cloudy. Anyone have a guess how long until I should harvest? I've heard the bud trichome are slower to mature, and I'm looking for 30% amber trichs to harvest.

I'm out of town for the next week, hoping they look closer by the time I get back. It's my first grow so not sure what to expect.

3 weeks. Assuming they turn cloudy in 2-weeks, you will get you a potent harvest with an okay yield, 3-4 weeks will get you a slightly less potent harvest but a much larger yield. It's almost worth it to wait that extra week. Whatever you intend to do, make sure you do a water flush for the last 2-3 days The 24-72 blackout period doesn't actually do anything.

Sounds good. I've heard that for hash production it's probably worth harvesting a little on the late side for the large trichomes, might lean towards that. Will definitely flush either way.

A week easily, maybe even two.
