Don't kink-shame.
The old and new Reddit UIs are both bad in different ways. The new one is just bloated, the old one is not responsive and makes it hard to view images.
Fixed work Reddit Enhancement Suite
I have noticed it has improved as of lately "New Reddit UI" sucked balls for so long.
Exactly. It's terrible in a lot of ways, but it is far better than the Old New Reddit UI.
Yeah it's much better than the one we had for the last however-many-years.
Don't get me wrong, I still think it's hot asswater compared to old reddit, but at least it seems more functional.
Did they improve the performance? That's was the main issue for me.
Couldn't tell you myself. Outside of 10-15 second unexpected intervals, I haven't used anything but old reddit since before it was old reddit, so I couldn't tell you how it is compared to the previous one.
Can 100% tell you the web-based-mobile site is pure unadulterated artificially-slowed ass.
Yeah, so many years sucked with shit, and here on Lemmy can have whatever frontend we want... Puts your world in perspective 😁
https://old.lemmy.world/ is the old reddit design. Not sure if it has auto srcolling and I can't check because as usually, lemmy.world is down.
to me it kinda just seems like the default ui with a different skin no? I'm saying the current new reddit redesign on desktop is what I want
OP check this, it's the closest to what you want.
the current new reddit redesign on desktop is what I want
You sir, disgust me.
By the way, "old" is simply based on mlmym.org, which you can use with other instances than lemmy.world, if wanted.
That's the one!
