This is my hoya sipitangensis, not sure why it chose to flower while I'm re-rooting it but I'm not complaining.

A lot of comments about the smell here haha. This one actually smells pretty faint and just smells like flowers. I have heard some varieties smell bad but so far none of the ones that have bloomed for me have been bad.

I love the look, but the ungodly smell they fill the entire house with... I could do without that.

You do know there are many different hoyas with different or no smell, right?

Alternatively, you could do what I do and just be bad at growing hoyas so they never bloom πŸ˜‚

Not to mention they take so long to actually open up so you could chop off the peduncle before it blooms. It's weeks between peduncle formation and blooming :P
