Same thing with the DNR. Generally, they don't care what you do as long as you aren't dumping stuff or hunting/fishing illegally. They're pretty much all also working their dream job so they're the chillest and least maladjusted cops out there. But they also have more authority than a state trooper and will 100% use it if you give them reason to.
It's always great getting to see some drunk boater mouth off to a conservation officer only to be surprised when they get arrested by the woods cops and their boat gets impounded.
