Yeah I don’t understand shabby fashion at all. I mean if I’m wearing clothing that’s full of holes it’s because I’m too cheap and lazy to buy new clothes.

I ride electric boards. My pants are full of holes, not because I'm cheap or lazy, but because my pants don't last long 😅
That’s legit though. I’m talking about the people who buy jeans that are pre-worn, with big holes and cuts in them from the store!
I never grew out of the grunge style. I love holes in the knees of my jeans. I just don't buy them that way. The holes need to be earned.
Never worn holes through the knees of any pants. Mine usually tear all around the pockets, around the beltloops and such. Even at the bottom of the pockets where the bottom of my phone would rub against the inside of the cloth. That said... Unless you are falling down how are you wearing holes in the places shown in the picture?
Working on my hands and knees on concrete, gravel, or dirt. Or just walking around with shit-quality pants. As a kid? Eating shit on my skateboard or rollerblades.
Here I thought someone was just kicking you in the shins a lot, haha.
That is to make sure that next time you fall on tarmac, you properly scrape your knees instead of just having it rubbing with rough cloth.
Yeah that's why Kurt Cobain and other punk/grunge musicians wore this kind of clothes. Then he became one of the biggest rockstar ever, which caused him to blow his head off and the trendy people to start dressing like him.

I'm 52 and can't be bothered with the waste of time. I will occasionally shave because it does feel nice for a bit afterwards. Honestly, same goes with my pits. In all fairness though, I'm fair skinned with lighter colored body hair that isn't all that thick. EXCEPT for the motherfucking chin hairs. Those damn things I curse at each and every one that I rip from my face.
That said, people should do whatever the fuck they feel comfortable with in regards to their own body hair.
If you're interested in dealing with them once and for all, there are treatments (I think they use lasers) that will kill the hair follicles and prevent them from growing hair anymore.
My mom had it done on her legs and she hasn't had to shave since, not sure how expensive it is but it might be worth looking.
For the person you're replying to, lighter hair (such as blonde, gray, or some form of dirty blonde) generally doesn't work with laser. To deal with those hairs, the option is electrolysis which is slow, painful, and more expensive than laser especially for large areas but also a very high hair kill rate.
A friend of mine lived with an electrolysis tech for a while, and she got basically all her legs done for free over the course of multiple years. I experienced it a few times — I imagine the pain is similar to how a tattoo would hurt.
For me, the cost was by far, the most expensive part. Sucks to be ginger

Laser can work if your hair is dark enough, otherwise you'd need electrolysis. Depending on the needed method and amount of hair prices range from a few hundred to several thousand, possibly over many sessions

It may surprise you but many women actually like having smooth shaved legs. Just like some men like to be clean cut. It's weird that leg shaving is such an issue cause I never saw it as being about men, it's just a personal preference women have
I bet, cleanly shaven feels nice but I can imagine stubble to be exceptionally bad on legs. And most men would probably need to shave far more often to avoid it.
I'm a guy and my leg hair drives me crazy sometimes. I sometimes get fixated on the feeling of the blanket rubbing on it and it drives me crazy. It also gets randomly sensitive to pull on or touch, I dunno if that happens to anyone else. And when it's dry it makes my legs itch
I don't find it nearly as bad as facial hair stubble (based on experiences with partners). You are right though in that the niceness of shaved legs disappears pretty quickly. I tend to only indulge when I change my bedsheets because shaved legs against fresh sheets is amazing
Laser hair removal is not expensive and lasts for years. But only works if your body hair is dark and your skin is light colored
Can confirm, am man, have shaved legs and stubble sucks ass and pops up too often to bother.
Does feel nice when smooth though.
Used to like to trim a lot more places when I was younger. Stubble can be annoying, but damnit did I learn it wasn't worth the hassle of trimming your perenium. Fucking sharp ass hairs stabbing you all day.

I can't wear body warmers continuously for a long time due to static electricity with hair.
So if I could make the body hair just stop coming out once and for all, I would. Except that none of the available solutions are really permanent, except for, maybe burning the skin off, which would create other major inconveniences.

Is arm hair not really a thing for her?
A lot of people's arm hair is much finer, and lighter in color, than their other body hair. There are a lot of people out there that can get away without shaving arms, and maintain that hairless look, and you wouldn't really notice unless you touched them.
My arm hair is like a fish.
Dark on top, pale underneath, and while not as dense as my leg hair it is still very apparent.
I will admit to not noticing it as often in others, but I also don't have a visual memory.
Fish have hair? Or your arms have scales? Or wait, you meant your arms are like Alligators!

Holy moly that would save so much time. I already kind of cheat and mostly do my thighs now that it is winter, since I don't really feel my shin hair normally.
That’s funny; my thigh hair is so thin I don’t even bother, even in the summer. Meanwhile my calf hair is darker and more obvious so that’s what I shave.
I only shave my legs when pulling up my ski socks (knee-high, tight enough to not fall down, but I’ve never been skiing) causes pain from pulled hairs. And sometimes when I go to a pool. So like maybe 5-8 times a year.
I don’t wear shorts or skirts above the ankle, so I really don’t care most of the time.
