Great technique for areas that have the right climate. I believe indigenous people in some areas have used similar systems for a long time.
Unfortunately, it’s really only viable in extremely foggy coastal areas. Most places there just isn’t enough moisture in the air to collect a meaningful amount of water without more advanced techniques.
