I'd say the fact that we see the Nintendo logo instead of the Nintendo Switch logo at the end of the video means something... Also the eyes on top of the Nintendo logo at the end are very similar to Cappy's eyes in Super Mario Odyssey. And they just show up from the left and stand on the logo, looking at you...

Random eyes on things is just a Yooka-Laylee theme. One of the enemies in the first game is a pair of cartoon eyes that can take over inanimate objects. A lot of characters are just a random object with a pair of cartoon eyes.

Oooh, I didn't pay attention to the eyes, went back to look at them. They aren't part of trailer. They are definitely on Nintendo logo!
