Idgaf about "eyesores," but I am very supportive of efforts to make sure that solar farms are designed in ecologically responsible ways. Far too many effectively raze the underlying ecosystem in order to maximize coverage, when slightly less efficient land usage can allow the same species to flourish after construction.

Eyesores or necessary clean energy? Solar garden growth sparks debate in Hugo
(www.startribune.com)
Totally agree. In this case, it's plain NIMBYism, but we should make sure to avoid the classic mistake of ignoring any downsides of the new and shiny thing.
Necessary clean energy. Asked and answered.
Despite all' the horrid crap hunams leave lying around, somehow solar gardens get any complaints at all? Seems a bit odd to me... 🤷
I'm sure they also complain about roads, parking lots, gas stations, drive thrus, and highway onramps. Not.
