Title is 'Gargoyles'

Michael Parkes! Dang, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. He really took off in the late 80's. I used to put him and Enya in the same boat because some of her music and her Orinoco Flow video had similar dreamy fantasy vibes (though not the same style) to his art, and I discovered them around the same time.

Is this from a book cover or something? It looks very familiar for some reason.

Gargoyles (1985) was the first artwork by Michael Parkes to capture the attention of a mainstream audience – reproduced in the form of a poster, it came to adorn hundreds of thousands of walls throughout North America.

Man, Gargoyles is cool, but the rest of the art they have up is kinda meh. I want to see more of the crazy gargoyle creatures and fewer of the fair ladies.

One of my best friends has this framed in her house. She’s had it as long as I’ve known her and that’s going on 25 years. Never expected to see it here!
