I think every time Trump or Vance says they're seeing reports from people about this, reporters should ask if Vance fucked a couch (and don't sanitize it for broadcast literally ask "Did Senator Vance fuck a couch?") because of how many reports they are seeing from people.

There's a lot of testimony out there on social media saying he may have!

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 21 points 6 days ago

I even saw it on TV!

[–] BigMacHole@lemm.ee 55 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Literally EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR TRUMP AND VANCE are saying this isn't True. So as a Free Thinking Republican that does Her own Research I can Conclude that EVERYONE EXCEPT BILLIONAIRE TRUMP AND MILLIONAIRE VANCE IS THE DEEP STATE!

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 26 points 6 days ago (1 children)

He simply can't say it because he's being politically correct. As soon as Elon Musk liberates us from PC tyranny, it will be fine to call Haitians dog eating n-words again.

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 21 points 6 days ago

dog eating n-words again

Ooh! I said it again!

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 14 points 6 days ago

Or Vance and Trump are actually pet eaters and they are projecting again.

[–] InEnduringGrowStrong@sh.itjust.works 51 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Dismisses it, but ultimately still supports GOP even when the leopards smell his face.

[–] empireOfLove2@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 6 days ago

Dismisses it only because it makes himself look bad, if it were true that the state he's in charge of was devolving into gangs of brown people eating pets.

With as much as a piece of shit DeWine is, I'm still impressed that he breaks with Trump when he needs to. He did pretty ok during covid compared to other GOP governor's like DeSantis, but that's about where the praise ends.

[–] makyo@lemmy.world 24 points 6 days ago

Puts him in a tough spot though right, like he almost has to go on and say 'no this is not happening on my watch, the people of Ohio don't need to worry about this happening'. He's probably really pissed and rightly so at Trump for putting this on the national stage.

[–] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 28 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Speaking to CBS, DeWine said: “This is something that came up on the internet, and the internet can be quite crazy sometimes.

It didn't just come up "on the internet" you cowardly shit stain, it came out of the mouth of the presidential candidate you said you'd be voting for

[–] takeda@lemmy.world 34 points 6 days ago (1 children)

trump thought this was the best way to distract away from the question why he tanked the border bill.

[–] finley@lemm.ee 12 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

It worked, but it probably cost him the election

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 6 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Hooray for Trump's pride, doing a debate everyone knew would only hurt him.

[–] finley@lemm.ee 4 points 6 days ago

No wonder he’s so equivocal about doing another one. Even he knows he fucked up.

[–] whotookkarl@lemmy.world 10 points 6 days ago

I once saw a documentary film about a man in Ohio who ripped a guy's arm off in an arm wrestling contest then turned into a fly due to a teleporter mishap.

[–] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 10 points 6 days ago

Sure, DeWine, no truth, no evidence. But the real point is who are you going to vote for Governor? Go ahead, tell the world you are going to vote for Kamala Harris. smh

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 8 points 6 days ago

Trump is a nut job.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 7 points 6 days ago

MAGA: "No truth, no evidence, no problem"

[–] LEDZeppelin@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

Now only if GOP governor could call GOP Senator from his state and potential VP as well as GOP candidate for president, they can finally move on to a bigger and bolder lie.

you know you can't be to careful as these are legitamate party conidates and office holders and as you said its obvious the party has members in ohio and so they should be up to date. I think its best to avoid ohio for tourism or shooting movies or such for now. I mean im not saying ohio is one of the states often responsible for what parties hold legitamate federal offices but if they were I might not want to vote for that party and even vote for their opponent othewise most likely to win. I mean they could hold it against a party and their members and their children and their childrens children but that is up to them.

Well looks like he isn't getting reelected...

Trump IS truth. If he says the sky is red, you better agree or the Magoos will come out in force and make you believe it's red.

Trump: "There are 5 lights."

[–] Chainweasel@lemmy.world 8 points 6 days ago

He's term limited, he wasn't getting reelected anyway.
In Ohio governors can only serve two consecutive terms, he'd have to take 4 years off before he ran again and he's ancient now.
