"Hologram"

It's just a video conference but instead of a screen it used hypervsn. That's basically a bunch of fans full of LEDs to project the image. It's still a flat image but appears to float in the air because the fans spin too fast for the eye to see.

And the same CEO using holograms will use to to tell employees to go back to the office.

The neat part is that the hologram can do about the same amount of actual, physically and intellectually demanding work per day that the CEO can.

It's not a hologram. It's 2D. That fan setup is nothing more than bait.

Well, they've been expecting the rest of us to be in at least two places at once for a while....

I'm sure regular workers will be allowed to use this tech to be remotely present in the office from home right?...right?...

These clowns are wasting space when they are at one place at the time, let alone two.

a technology only a ceo would find needed, valuable or even desired.

Once the body scan is made and the ai is trained on the ceos patterns the meat version can be easily recycled after a slow blending process is enacted.

Surprised this one took so long. We've had basic hologram tech for decades now. Even with a private jet, it's not like flying cross country all the time for business is fun or anything. Being on a jet is still being on a jet, and not being able to do anything except pull out your laptop, mobile device or book.

I'm JUST thinking about Silicon Valley now.

While probably working from home after forcing their employees to return to the office.

At that point, you're better off just having a virtual conference.

Great can I get a hologram so I can be in office and it can do my work for me?

Aside from the CEO/WFH hate everyone has already obsessed over, is this closer to having holograms like in sci-fi? Last I knew the problem was there's no way to stop the light so it wasn't possible to create.

Or is this just a projector on a wall?
