It's just range anxiety and inertia.

Rural folks don't want to "use an app to plan longer journeys".

I bet rural folks drive pretty old vehicles in general, compared to suburban folks.

It'll come. It just takes time, and this group isn't built for rapid change.

Edit a f150 lightning is by far the best contender right now, for those that can afford the entry price
