A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Rules

All posts must be showerthoughts
The entire showerthought must be in the title
Avoid politics
1. NEW RULE as of 5 Nov 2024, trying it out
2. Political posts often end up being circle jerks (not offering unique perspective) or enflaming (too much work for mods).
3. Try c/politicaldiscussion, volunteer as a mod here, or start your own community.

This would be a quick way to see of it's racist, close minded, or just straight bs.

Ex1- You want women to kill babies, boy!

Ex2- You want to feed the homeless, boy!

It does get stuck in there. Just don't make the mistake of going out in public until it fades lol.

I had an NPC during a table top rpg session that was my excuse to do my foghorn leghorn voice. Spent all afternoon doing that voice, and couldn't stop when I made a beverage and snack run.

I already have a southern accent (technically a mountain accent, but that's quibbling), so hamming it up can get absurd lol
