Hey there. What do you think of blockchain social networks, like steemit, etc? Do you have to be into crypto to join them? I was thinking of trying one out.

I dont think it makes sense in practice. To store data in a blockchain you need to pay a fee (or someone else pays it for you). That makes sense for monetary transactions, but do you want to pay for every post you make? It also makes it impossible yo delete posts, they are stored in the blockchain forever.
