I think this highlights the key issue that this article overlooks.
The problem is less that people post about their kids, imo, than that this is a new way for awful parents to be awful.
I post photos of my toddler online. They're just like the photos of post of friends: flattering and noninvasive. I think he's in a better position with a parent who posts pictures AND thinks about his future and well-being than a kid with a parent who does neither.
