I really hope /r/xbiking makes its way here! I'm addicted to seeing their creations.
Why don't you put up one yourself? :)
I'd feel inadequate as a mod of such a community. I use a bike as my main means of transportation, and do some cycle touring, but I'm not much of a wrench, I only own one bike, and it's a pretty vanilla entry-level hybrid.
I was thinking of maybe starting a more general purpose community for all things cycling. I haven't been able to find any so far.
I found one that is quite small and about bicycle mechanics. I am willing to help if someone starts a general bicycling community or if no-one starts it I may think about starting one. For long distance cycling there's !randonneurs@sopuli.xyz
