It does, perfectly fine! Was just one of the first I tried in the Yuzu program, as a proof of it working fine.
Time passed, I'd gone too far in the game to want to start over, so I just kept playing there!
I certainly understand not wanting to start over. Although according to this it should be possible to transfer the saves in case you can be bothered. I'd imagine you would get much better performance and battery life on the native version?
