Really glad you both suggested this game!

Am having an absolute blast playing!!!!!

I wanted to love Soma, I tried playing twice now. I live for the ocean, so this should be right up my alley. But to be fair I never passed the apartment at the start.

I reaaaaally should stick with it and try again. Thanks for reminding me of my shame!

Wow, thank you so much for this! So much in this I wanted to see, I really appreciate the time you took!

I adore diving. I actually moved around the world for 11 months to teach diving after my PADI IDC. So you'd think Subnautica would be tailor-made for me.

It just didn't really explain what I needed to do. I don't need my hand held in games, but by the time I figured out what I needed, the realization was a whole lot of upkeep and 'menial tasks' to progress. If that makes sense. I couldn't pass the early game to get to the story and progress. This is all on me, but I never enjoyed Minecraft, so that whole genre is maybe not for me. I wish I did, it looks so lovely.

Abzu though, that was amazing!

I've got Outer Wilds downloading right now. I keep reading and seeing comments and posts telling me how much I'll love it, so I have to have faith (like Dutch kept telling me -_-), thanks for reminding me about this one. It seems quirky and to have its own style, I think I'll like this!

(P.s. is Spiritfarer harrowingly sad? I see a lot that this game needs a box of tissues and a teddy bear nearby when playing through, that's why I haven't jumped to it yet!)

I tried Hades! I loved the art and the world, but the idea of progressing only a little each time and dying (often) was a turn off to me.

The world they made though? Amazing! Thanks for these suggestions, I'll check them all out!

I've had a great time playing some of the 'smaller' games lately: Dredge (adore this game so much), Dave the Diver, Cloudpunk, Stray, Octopath II, Observer.

What else would I like? That aren't roguelikes or crafting-building games (don't hate me, I tried to love Subnautica...as a diver I should love it, but the genre just isn't for me!).

Would love any suggestions!

Newpipe is the way to go!

Download videos, download audio, have no ads, listen to audio with the screen locked.

I love Newpipe!

After Snowden's efforts at showing what America was capable of nearly 10 years ago, I'm not at all interested in letting that country have my data

What a shock to read. I love his books, his story, what he achieved and how he did it all. The world was a better and safer place with Kevin in it.

What a sad day to lose someone like that.

The Metroid Prime Remake was beautiful to see on my Switch. Really appreciated playing through that. I had to have a online walkthrough on hand, but that's just me!

Well worth the price.

I see this weird Death March thing everywhere. I replayed through recently on the easiest setting (story and sword, I think its called?) and had a GREAT time.

If you ever feel the urge, I can't recommend it enough. The first couple hours of playing are like an extended tutorial. The entirety of White Orchid is a learning zone, really.

As everyone says, once you reach the Bloody Baron quest, you see just how amazing the game and the writing can be!

Maybe ny fav game of the last 5 years. Control just took my breath away.

The Stephen King/Twin Peaks-feeling atmosphere I needed in a game, and yep, Jesse Faden was 100% my gym motivation for a solid month there!!

As always, on the lookout for games to get because I am a hoarder. I see the Hogwarts fitgirl repack sitting there, but can anyone confirm if it works on Steam Deck?

Any known issues?

Thanks!

So amongst other things I'm on a high dose of valium right now, and things are difficult. Gosh darn it even dressing is an effort (who has two thumbs, didn't get out of bed/her nightie this morning? And maybe will live in bed forever now? This girl).

My girlfriends I live with are all mile-a-minute getting ready to fly out for a work trip and I feel like a magikarp to their Sonic the Hedgehog.

My question is, what do I buy for my Steam Deck to keep me sane that requires the dexterity of a potato. Or at least, that I can take a loooong time to figure out. No pressure.

Just finished Final Fantasy VII Remake before all of this, and I'd love something far less intense and concentrate-y (even though God damn was that game pretty and incredible and yes I downloaded FFXV because I love the modern FF world now)

(Srsly, FF7 Remake was sublime)

I suck at games like minecraft and surviving crafting things.

Subnautica looks like a dream but...crafting and survival. I hate that genre. Love oceans and tropical. Hate crafting.

Someome help? Plz? <3 (And thanks, sorry for rambling here x)

I see Batman Arkham City GOTY is on sale on Steam. Is that one objectively better than the others?

A game I got on the 14th is still sitting there telling me it has "a pending refund request for this product".

Am I just too antsy? I thought this would be an automated process.

Has anyone got a time-frame this could take? Being rather new to the Steam world, its all a mystery to me.

Thanks for any help!

First time I'll be playing Cyberpunk with mods! Every previous playthrough has been on my Series X, so I'm hoping some people here might have some expert must-have mods I need to grab?!

Appreciate any input!

Just looking for a safe copy of RE:2, but in order for it to play nicely with my Steam Deck and Fluffy Mod Manager, I need a copy of the game before the ray tracing update. The one that killed 90% of the mods, or at least doesn't allow them to work.

I tried fitgirl, but does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate a hand!

Any suggestions on the best all-rounder OS? Is Raspberry Pi OS still the better option?

Its been so long since I ran this. Pi4, 8gb for reference.

Hi-Fi Rush: team costume pack.

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis: June monthly bonus.

Apex Lengends: arsenel supercharge pack.

Battlefield 2042: new dawn field kit

Hopefully someone can use these here. If you do claim one, let this post know so you can save someone some time! These are just from my Xbox Game Pass perks.

Recently finished Bioshock, Spec-Ops: The Line and Nier Automata (not so old, but played really well).

I'd love any suggestions for older AAA titles that are worth a play-through!
