An artwork called "Comedian", part of an Italian artist's exhibition, consisted of a ripe banana duct-taped to a wall at Seoul's Leeum Musuem of Art. Art student Noh Huyn-soo detached the banana, peeled it and unashamedly ate it. He then placed the banana peel back on the wall using the duct tape. When the museum asked him to explain his actions, he replied that he was hungry as he missed breakfast. 🤣

It might be noted that this is not the first time Comedian has been eaten, although I don't know if this is the same "edition".

The piece, designed in three editions, isn't just a single sculpture but a concept with a certificate of authenticity and instructions for its display, which I think freely allows for the replacement of the banana. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comedian_(artwork)
