The Adelaide community is pretty dead there, I wonder how often non-melbournians post here?

In other news, just did some shopping for the newest once removed cousins (thank you google, I could never understand family relationships), and I think purchasing those glow in the dark stars at Big W was a great idea. We'll see how it goes once I give it to their parents.

Suggestion for the stars... Print out the night sky for the month/year the kid/s were/was born. Then the parent can do it on the roof of the kids bedroom. I did that with kidcalhoon1, she loves it. never did get round to it with kidcalhoon2 though 😬

Great suggestion, maybe this can be for a slightly older age, maybe 4+? I can definitely imagine being immersed in my room with the constellations that were visible on my birthday.

The star's would have to be smaller to provide a bit more fidelity - the ones I got were the assorted pack of various sizes and colors.

Curious about everyone's response with this one.

2 spoons instant, 1 spoon sugar, little hot water, and the rest milk. (Basically coffee flavoured milk)

I usually don't buy barista coffee very often due to me being a cheapskate but when I do it'll be a mocha if I suspect they use good quality cocoa, or the good ol flat white. No syrup / flavourings. May use a sachet of their sugar if I'm feeling sweet toothed or to round off the bitterness.

Welcome! Obviously let the kidos make up their own minds, but I suggest totally random, or carefully actuate be deliberately chosen.

I've asked their parents for a theme. I don't know how I'll feel taking their few month old & 2 yr old out shopping with their parents!

I've gotten the older ones (1 & 2) the melamine bowls & plates, I hope for them to stick around in their pantry until they're adults :)

The stars are for the few month old one.
