Not sure if I would call Germany a company per se. But the United States is essentially a corporate state and has occupied and to a large extent controlled the progression of Germany since the end of the war, and even more 'wholly' controlled since reunification. Most EU countries are controlled/ran by the US in a similar way. Some have more military, some have more corporate/financial ties. In any case, the respective leaders are still subservient to the US interests, which a layman might describe as "a company ran by the US" in contrast to a truly sovereign state with its own interests put first. It's hardly a leap of logic on that front. Just look at the events of 2022.
To the rest of your comment...they do sound off the wall on those other things.
