Personally, I pretty much only smoke joints. Glass filter tips and RAW Black Organic Hemps wrapped around some good homegrown... bliss. But I recognize other people have different opinions, so in the spirit of provoking discussion what's everyone's preferred way to medicate (or just get fuckin blasted)?

I used to smoke flower but now only do so on very rare occasions (like if I get a favorite strain, like NYC Diesel). I was using a PAX to vape flower for the past few years, but I recently started experimenting with concentrates.

To be completely honest, I have been blown away by concentrates on a number of things: no more pot smell on me; hits are far superior (one hit is enough); my throat isn't burning afterwards. I prefer live rosins (heat press, no solvents used) as it is more natural and preserves a lot of the terpenes and natural flavors. I've tried other concentrates too, badder/budder, crumble, wax, shatter, but I find that diamonds are some of the highest in THC-A (my most recent batch is just below 97%) and hit so smooth that there is almost no aftertaste.

My daily driver is a Yocan Orbit and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing (versus owning a dab rig with kids in the house) and super easy to clean (one minute with iso and a cotton swab and I'm off to the races). I tried a Terp Pen initially, but they get pretty clogged up and are much harder to clean.

Now, I'm not advocating one delivery system over another, but I'm in my late 40's and I can't be hitting blunts or bongs on a regular basis, much less a preroll. I do miss the ritual of it all, but that's about it.

Do you taste any metal with the Yocan? I have some live rosin and I tried it in the Pax attachment and it was so-so. I then tried it with an attachment from a cheaper vape pen, but it uses a coil to heat it up and it tastes like I’m smoking the coil more than anything else. Also, do you have any tips on how to manage the rosin? It’s so sticky!

No metallic taste from the Yocan. The coil is underneath the quartz cup.

I tried the concentrate oven with my Pax Plus, but I wasn't too thrilled with it. The little bucket and lid needs constant cleaning and I found it tedious. My Pax is just used for flower now.

As for the Terp Pen, it works okay initially, but then the coil tip gets gunked up, even if you pull slowly as recommended. It is also much more involved when cleaning due to the airflow design. I went through a few coils before switching up to the Yocan Orbit.

As for handling sticky concentrates, forget those dab tools and get a hot knife. Scoop with the knife cool, then hit the button to release the concentrate.
