What Java version do you have? They switched to a much newer version of Java at some point, maybe the old versions of Minecraft are trying to use the new Java and flipping out?
On arch the default java environment can be checked with
archlinux-java status
ifarchlinux-java-run
is installedIt is also dependent on how they've installed Prism, if through the Flatpak it bundles its own Java versions, Java 8 is included and can just be selected in the settings specifically for that instance
I think Minecraft launchers have their own setting for Java versions but I have no clue which one they select and I am almost certain Java 8 (which as far as I remember was the version for that Minecraft version) won't be the Arch Linux default.
