I think most people kinda just go with the flow on social issues. Which means they will probably just interact with you like a human being, but not go out of their way to do something special. And honestly....I just wanna be treated as normal, haha. I still wish certain portions of the US were more chill and disinterested in us (cough cough, inland and southern states)

I think you're right here, and I think that's being taken advantage of by the disinformation peddlers. The anti-trans rhetoric is so loud and so prevalent but in practice is being generated by an extremely vocal minority - but because they make so much noise, there's the notion that their stance is generally accepted. One of the best ways to combat that is for more allies to be more vocal - online, in their day to day lives - it doesn't have to be big, in fact small and consistent probably has a bigger effect!
