Yeah I had a hard time getting into the time leap thing. It just stopped being interesting.
I am actually enjoying it more post time leap.
Same… but to be blunt, the bar was disappointingly low for the series (with the exception of the mirror universe episodes, which I thought were a ton of fun).
The ship flip/spin thing is so bad. I realize warp drive and a lot of the tech is unrealistic in Star Trek but the ship flip/roll thing was dumber than the time travel itself.
Oh I loved the mushroom plot. It was novel and exciting. I was looking forward to more exploration in the Mushroomverse and then they went to post-Utopian dystopia instead and rebooted the entire cast.
It just wasn’t exciting at that point.
That's when I bailed as well. I like the progression of S1 to S2, then straight into SNW. I just pretend like Discovery ended when they jumped into the wormhole.
