Palestinian dead kids is obviously deeply unfortunate, but who to blame about is questionable.

I'm donating to Unicef to at least partially help with that and also ukrainian children. I'm hoping my money doesn't just fall to Hamas in the region.

It probably will, there are non UN NGOs that do a way better job. Id recommend something like Kinderhilfe Bethlehem, they are beyond neutral and work with Israel to help the civilians in the non Israeli controlled areas inside Israel ("Palestine")
